Eastern Bluebird Bumper Crop
The bluebird box on my property remained empty, except for opportunistic House Sparrows, for many years. In the spring of 2024, a pair of Eastern Bluebirds had two successful broods in this nesting box. A total of nine bluebirds hatched and fledged. I had a great time watching and photographing the effort of the parents and the progress of the chicks.
